Visit St Mary’s, Titchwell
St Mary's Church, Titchwell, is a beautiful East Anglian Round Tower Church, situated on the North Norfolk Coast between Brancaster and Hunstanton. Part of the round tower and the nave foundations are more than 1,000 years old.
"A tiny church with a round tower in the middle of the north Norfolk marshes. It has an extraordinarily peaceful atmosphere and seems completely in tune with its landscape".
"The Victorian chamber organ was built in the 1850s and installed at Titchwell in the 1890s. For its small size, it has a lovely tone. The first aim of the Friends of Titchwell Church is to raise enough money for the PCC to have it completely refurbished".

What to expect when you visit
To pass under the 13th century arch and step inside the church is to realise that, week after week, for more than 800 years, the footsteps of others have preceded yours - perhaps a young boy whose Uncle had drawn a long-bow at the Battle of Agincourt; perhaps a girl whose great-aunt had set out in the Mayflower for the New World.
